Percys Gaskets......
Used these after they were reccomended in the US on my SB with Dougs headers. They do a BB version:

Tried all sorts. Never had one seal properly yet ! (tickticktick)
Tried TTi, no-names, currently on sort of a layered-aluminium affair (cant remember who made it). Got some copper ones to try next. I've stopped worrying about it.

Interesting.
I put it down to the sheer weight of the headers and the naffness of the access to bolts to get any real leverage. It just has so much downwards pull that it never seems to achieve even distribution. Run it long enough the soot plugs the hole anyway.

Percys have always worked for me. There is an issue I have come across on big blocks that prevent good sealing. The area across the exhaust ports is machined flat which leaves a ridge above the ports of varying height. Some headers on some heads can contact that ridge along the top of the flange and stop the header pulling up square when you tighten the bolts. Always check for that and a bit of a bevel on the header flange is all it takes to clearance it.

Bought some Maxx copper header gaskets with o rings does the raised ridge around the ports face the engine or away from it and which side do the o rings go.
