trike carb advice for colleague

Colleague has just sold his 1800cc VW trike and is looking to buy one with a Rover 3.9 ltr (circa 98) trike in the Manchester area. Question is, he wants advice on what would be the best carb for this engine (automatic transmission). Not sure what is on it but is a big circular unit. Haven't any other info. If anyone has any ideas on an aftermarket carb I can pass it on to him. Sorry if it's a bit vague. Think he is just looking for something that's not too thirsty.

Hard to tell what manifold it has, the Holley 390 Holley is/was often a popular choice for Rover V8’s

Far too sensible, trikes are all about the look, he wants one of these

edelbrock/weber 500
if you get it from rpi engineering it will come more or less bob on... set up for the motor provided it isn't too wild
had a few chats with them when i had an edelbrock...quite helpful

Is there a model name for this motorcycle? I think it would be easier to choose the right carburetor that way.

If you're going away from the twin carb standard Rover set up then potentially you're looking at an intake manifold swap to fit a Holley or an Edelbrick.
