Seat covers
Sure this will have been asked a Million times, but not getting great success with the search function…
Any recommendations on where to get a decent quality rear seat cover from? Checked out most of the usual suspects and can see Legendary seem pretty good, but still not cheap.
The issue I have is that the rear seat back has torn away from the frame clips, don’t think it’s salvageable so was going to order a new one.
Also, is fitting something a ham fisted twat with a short fuse can realistically do well…? I’d like to do it myself unless it’s a dark art.
TIA.

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

Re: Seat covers
Legendary are the very best quality with a price to match. PG classics do covers that are about half the price but the colours are way off, being black you should be OK. I was happy with mine other than that. A seat back is pretty easy to do, best done on a hot day when you can lay out the cover to soften in the sun before you start pulling it about.

PG! That’s the name I’d been trying to remember that you’d recommended to someone before, but I couldn’t find it, ta!

Re: Seat covers
Unexpected turn, they turn out to be more expensive, as you can’t just buy the rears by the looks of it!

Re: Seat covers
Might be worth getting an upholsterer to look at it and see if it can be repaired.

Re: Seat covers
my new Legendary covers from Wellington arrived this morning, I found Rick great to deal with
https://wellingtonclassics.com/
I made initial contact with Wellington via ebay ...
https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/wellingtoncl ... rsandparts
should say I did order my covers in January and was prepared to wait. they were on 14 week back order at Legendary, this turned into 28 week back order due to some pandemic or other. end of June I contacted Rick for an update, they still weren't ready but shipped a week or so later. Used Ron / STS to get them here, my shipment was in Ron's July 12th container cleared and unpacked Monday

Re: Seat covers
Only just spotted this, thanks for the info.
Currently hoping there’s enough material left to get someone to repair it.
