Hi Impact paint for Mopars
Just wondering how much it would cost and what quantity would be needed for a challenger to paint from Primer up in a Hi Impact colour like plum crazy purple or Panther Pink...the car is a rolling chassis totally stripped!!
Cost is like how long is a piece of string...depends what kind of a job, whether you want underneath/inside/engine compartment included, what finish (colour sanded? how many coats?), what type of paint (base/clear or single stage etc. Minimum spec I'm gonna guess between £1-2K?
The quantity and cost of the paint itself is insignificant compared to the rest of the cost...however, IIRC I needed about 5l for my vert. Again it also depends on the make of paint. I used PPG which is expensive, but the only reason I did that is they were the only people I was confident had an authentic Panther Pink, I did a fair bit of research and it was the only way I could be sure. Depending on how much that matters (I think less so with other colours) you can half the cost and still get nice paint.
