Why is fuel expencive in the UK?

there are now more people trying to commit crime at the Station as fuel prices go up.

Two people from work had their cars syphoned last week, in fact Stuart had filled up the night previously.

Both had locking flaps, but only one had locking cap, so better watch your vehicles & petrol tank

Why do the Gov't take so much on fuel? Because they can.
It's one of their biggest earners, it's easy to justify with the green excuse, we can't vote against it because there's no alternative- all of the political parties have the same short-sighted view that this is a good earner. They don't seem to get how damaging it is to the economy and to the social and work structure of the country.

I did once get 5 numbers up Tony and must admit, was a bit peeved as it could have been my only chance of getting the big one.
