Had a great day today...my mate Kev took delivery of another 70 Chrysler Newport Custom 2 door hardtop. Sourced and shipped from Washington State and you would swear shes a dry state car!!! Absolutely rock solid everywhere other than a small section in the trunk floor. We washed the crud off her and the bits we polished have come up really well for an original paint car. Runs good with some fuel down the carb and think she just needs a new fuel line and tank flush to run on her own.....lovely car!!
Cheers Steve

Yeah Rich, it really is a solid, nice car. Needs a bit of the usual stuff but not much at all. All the wheel trims are perfect, as is the chrome and stainless trim. The body is extremely straight
Its a 383 (edited) Dunc with a 727 column change. Sounded nice with a bit of fuel down the carb!! We spent an hour or so cutting some of the paint back just to see what she looked like and with a good day and a mop, she will come up really nice. Original paint as well!

if you think the Newport is big, you should see the size of our friend Steves Fury wagon. He was there to welcome Kevs car yesterday and its his daily driver!!! Very nice car, rescued from the crusher and doing him proud!!!
Cheers Steve
