So not looking so bad, the car's had an engine rebuild in the last year or so and the valves and guides are new. The guy that rebuilt the engine forgot to put the valve stem seals on. So it was blowing blue smoke.
The other good news is there's no rot on the body work, it's all solid. And someone spent a lot of money restoring it.
I bought the car on ebay without seeing it, so I think I've missed a bullet.

The blue smoke should be an easy fix then and the other jobs are just normal old car problems. If the bodywork is also good then you have done well.
cheers

Engine's back together.
Having problems find the right handbrake cable, the standard Challenger one doesn't fit for some reason.

The old one was knackered. The standard one is too long.

If you still have to old cable you can send it to speedy cables and they'll make you a new one.

Beautiful car Mark - Gotta love an e Body. Glad it turned out to be not too serious in the end.

Wasn’t sure if the engine was original on this car so I checked the engine number on the block and it matches the vin stamp near the cowl and vin tag on the dash. So matching numbers car

Yea, they looked $hit. This is where it spends most of its time.
A mate of mine asked if it was Starsky and Hutch’s car yesterday.
