It doesn't look like any car I can recall from Australia in the 70's.

Album cover photo is a recycled image according to Wiki.

" ... The cover of the album was from a 1970s fashion shoot reject box, according to Ed Simons. In a 1995 interview with Select magazine, Simons said, "We wanted something that just looked nice. When the image is flipped, the car is now on the opposite side so I'd guess an American car.
