The world is moving over to solid-state relays and software-defined fuses
The PDM takes one large power cable directly from the battery and then using software you can define what the outputs are and there fuse rating.
For example
Pin 32
Your a + DC Voltage 12v
You're an indicator
when you come on you will switch on for 2 sec and off for 3 sec (flash)
You are a 5 amp fuse
If you trip your 5amp fuse you will try and reset it 3 times
If you cant reset after 3x you will put a warning on the dash.
etc etc etc
The possibilities are endless and allow a lot of intelligence.
Functions could be triggered from any system on the bike like a simple temp sensor and fan set point.
All the way to active aero dynamic control systems

The closer you are to death the more alive you are
Aw man - even your wiring spooling which I find so strangely appealing is more advanced than anything I have done on my car ! I love it.
Poor mans version below - £14.99 on amazon. hahaha
When do these ideas come to you ? I like to think its like a vision or maybe you suddenly sit bolt upright at night and have to write it all down in a frenzy of creativity. Or maybe you dont sleep ?!? It would explain a lot.
Please keep it coming WIll - fast becoming my fave bit of the internet...

Ha, that is an old manual ribbon cable stripping machine, very useful if you need one.... Anything you can buy now is automated and costs ££££ so I'm hanging on to it !
