Herts Auto Show

After a couple of years away, this show returned to Stanborough Park nr Welwyn / Hatfield last weekend. This was the first time it was spread over 2 days and as Saturday was dry and bright and Sunday had occasional drizzle, it was a tad quieter on the Sunday than previous years :roll:
I say quieter... the popping and banging brigade over where the modern stuff was parked made themselves heard alright. Oh and the Merlin engine being run a few times must kept the neighbours happy :lol:
It was good to see Pete and Julie out in the 'cuda with its new 'rake' tho it was hard to tell, parked on the slope :-k
Also good to be out with Paul in his 61 Impala 'Michael' (Bubble... geddit?) for one last time as it was moved on to a new owner on Tuesday :?

Oh and in case you weren't aware Pete, that Citroen DS in front of you on the way out was being driven by Mark Jackson who also owns the ex-Stuart Keen 69 hemi Coronet, amongst many others! =P~

Great shots. Pete's Cuda has a killer stance. From the rear it looks like there's going to be some trouble kickin off.

I always thought that Paul's car was called "Vlad",,,,yes, think about it.....

Yes it was Vlad originally but I think that evolved to Michael.. he must be a fan of the cheesy Canadian crooner ;)

I need to check whether he refers to his Fury as Billy or Tyson... :-k
