Re: Johnny's Dart repairs
I'll have a look at my parts 727, and see what drum that has.

Re: Johnny's Dart repairs
Just make sure the other drum has the same width bush, thin and wide bush drums do not interchange as individual items.

That's lucky , the spares 727 has a big bush 4 plate clutch housing , so u can use that.
Cool in the barn today, 10 degrees different inside to outside.

Re: Johnny's Dart repairs
It's the valve block I'm not looking forward to.
Re: Johnny's Dart repairs
It’s pretty straightforward. Hold a rag over the detent spring area when you remove the rooster comb, its likely to fly across the workshop never to be seen again otherwise. Set that ball and spring aside so they don’t get mixed up. Its just a case of laying stuff out as assemblies in the order they come out and in the position they came from. If you strip it all and just chuck the bits in a bucket, you’ll struggle when it comes to reassembly. The TF2 instructions are good but they no longer include a photo of all the valve body components laid out in order, that was really helpful.
