Whats it worth then?

Post by BUDGIE »

OK pop pickers what do you reckon this one is worth then :?

Originally a 318 Barracuda auto, 1 of 1,100 approx :?

Now, built 340 with 4-Speed and 8 3/4 3.50 S/Grip. Lot's of nice bits inc
Genuine Shaker set-up, Correct gilled wings, electric top etc.
Rotisserie restored last year and in top condition.

Would make a nice summer smoker but what's it's real value
I know, what someone is willing to pay for it, but I still would have thought around £40k......... :dontknow: What you reckon :?

She's a beaut mate! But I can't see anyone parting with much more than about £25-30k at the moment. Bad time for selling, good time for buying. :(

Summer makes a bit of difference Budge, but 10k? It's more about the financial climate at the moment. There ain't a lot selling on the board. If you get the right punter, they'll snap it up. I would. But I ain't got £40k, and I don't think many folks will risk that much on a 'hobby' car at the moment.

I know it really, that's why I ain't bought it yet I spose  But, when you see it up close you can appreciate the vast amout of time and labour that have gone into it, it just don't make sense. Same old :blah: :blah: :blah:

Convertibles dont do it much for me, but car looks good in the photos.

Bit more than a half decent Coupe & bit more money, Buy it now is 36k.

I guess for the market your aiming at, Summer or Winter not gonna make much difference. The people in this niche market will have the cash whatever time of year.

My logic is reverse to you as a seller. I'd buy a convertible in the winter as it should be cheaper :D

lovely car mal but really do think you'll struggle for anything like £40k over here & it aint no matching etc
worry selling this for £40k or
have 2x £20k 67 fastback stangs which you'll shift straight away ?

only my view (& im b-body biased) but £30k would still sound enough for this

It might sell on mainland Europe,I doubt you'd get many lookers over here. £15K or less seems to be the toy budget right now. :(

in my view mal
for real muscle cars
fastbacks & convertbiles worth about the same & as you know coupe worth loads less, in fact id value convertible b bodies less than a hardtop- they just dont luck right- but e bodies do suit a convertible

mal it too much money for a 'user'
I had a good look at that blue 69 bee you posted about a month ago, the bloke cant sell it & I thought it was cheap. Thought about selling up & buying it but decided against it purly on the fact that is too much money to have in an old car & I would be a right fanny with it - It would end being more of liability & you'ed have a much fun in a car 1/2 it price
