Wow! That is the car that had the reputation of being the "one to beat" when I was a lad. It used to be in magazine ads etc.

Apparently the surviving big Willie Daytona was never one of his race cars, it was a tow car, sat in his backyard for years. He lost one in the acid dip tank and his wife's car got wrecked in a race. Don't know how many he had mind...

I've never been able to find much on the net about him, there were threads on Moparts and dodgecharger.com when that car came up on ebay about 2 years ago.
