I never use ebay, but I put my car on it yesterday in an attempt to sell it,,,, but I fear all I have done is given every care in the community half wit something to do ,,,,,I have had offers that would not even buy me a coffee in Fulham,lonely people who have rang up to talk about there mates Camaro that had a one of one engine that left the factory with special heads that run so quick he can,t drive it,,,and its worth a fortune,,,,and NO I DON<T WANT A Bananarama! BEAT UP OLD PICK UP TRUCK WITH A Bananarama! I wouldn't worry about them turning up, most of them are just keyboard dreamers, I've had several who ask the right questions (& a few wrong ones) arrange to come & do a deal but that's the last you hear of them.

Pete, don't worry about it, I've had some real wacko's respond to ebay ads...the genuine people email sensible questions or just quietly get on with bidding.

The best one I ever heard was at the NEC when Jim Wilson and I were having a chin wag about his 1 of 3 Hemi Cuda.

A bloke walked up and claimed his mate (It's ALWAYS a mate, isn't it....

) used to have one (they NEVER have it NOW) EXACTLY the same - same engine, transmission, split colour scheme, etc - as Jims'; just that his mate's one had 4 doors...........people, ehhh????; can't reason with them, can't kill 'em............

Drives me mad too, I just go for classified ads, no bidding, theres the price, call me like the old fashioned way. Typical example is the Barracuda, the time wasters I had on that one, should have put it on here and had some intelligent conversations .... well now I know!

Thats crap Pete!

I couldn't help but notice when looking Pete that you had 0 feedback.........This should not be an issue (and obviously your a gen seller), but i'd not be suprised that they looked at that, the sale value and with the recent scam's surrounding US cars they pulled it.

I send a strongly worded Email asking why they have taken the route they have, and can they reinstate the advert...Whilst reducing the sale fee due to loss of bidders/interest!

Very poor on their behalf!
