It's awesome mate, returning over 20 mpg on a run, 17ish around town. Drives like new, but I suppose it should, it's on 25k now so only another couple of hundred k & it'll be run in!
You can't have too much power, only a lack of traction!

Currently have this 02 F250 with the 7.3 Powerstroke TD motor, 450 mile round trip with the trailer a few weeks back to collect a Cadillac and it averaged a surprising 22 mpg. Unusual spec for a HD truck with the extra cab and short bed.

Good spec on the HD trucks. Would love a big old diesel but I live in the low emission zone !
Quite a few of them are compliant with the LEZ, I had an 02 Ram diesel last year and it was ok, just checked the reg on this one and it's ok. I had a 99 Ram diesel before that and it wasn't compliant even though it was mechanically identical to the 02 one

That's surprising !
I checked out a late nineties and early 2000. Different engines but neither allowed.
I must investigate further.
