I know I'm not the first and certainly won't be the last in saying a huge Thankyou to our very own Chairman Pete Wiseman.
Having come over to mine tonight to help fire up the 340 for the first time after my first ever engine rebuild/freshen up.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this project from start to where I am now (not quite finished but up and running ) But with Petes knowledge and experience, the initial start up and early tuning went very well.
My two herberts have also been a huge help and I'm very pleased that they have shown a healthy interest in the workings of an engine whilst learning a lot (me too!)
I'll put some pictures on my car thread as we got but I just wanted to say Thankyou to everyone for their help and advice and that goes for this great club and forum.
I make no apology for waffling on because I'm really chuffed to bits this first time engine build has been a success
Over and out, James
A BIG Thankyou

Well done, James.
You and your family have done a really good job there, especially as it was a first ever engine re-build. I was really impressed with the enthusiasm shown by all the family.
I take it you are now a convert to Holleys????
See you Saturday. If we get time we can fine tune the Demon.
