B&M are no longer producing a neutral balance flexplate for use with a 904, so I had a 727 one turned down to the correct diameter, hopefully this will do the trick.

My new ignition system has the ability to operate a shift light so I wanted to fit one. I’m not a big fan of “stuff” so I had a think about how I might incorporate it into the existing layout. On an A body rallye dash the central dial comes blanked off unless a vacuum gauge or tach was optioned so that seemed the best location.

I found a suitable black faced flat LED lamp on eBay and used a paint pen and lathe to replicate the pattern of the blanking plate. Cut out the centre of the blanking plate and glued the LED in from the back.

Paint guy had a cancellation so only had a couple of days to get the new screen in and de trim the car. Goes in Tuesday so should be back for Crimbo…
