Re: E BODY GROUND CLEARANCE ISSUES
Hi Jon,
Where are you based? as I have some wheels with 295/50/15 and 275/60/15's that are off my A body at mo, that you could try for mock up, but will depend on location and what backspace you may need etc

Anyone know if the owner is an MMA member or any additional info other than listed in the ad on the car would be appreciated.

Re: billet ally thermostat housing ??
Sorry to revive this very old thread, but....
I have acquired an unused one of Trev's Ali Thermostat Housings (360 Magnum) and just need to know whether it uses the Standard Gasket Oval Gasket with the Bolt Holes or a Rubber O Ring?
Unfortunately, the TD Engineering website link listed above seems ...

Re: My very last restoration!!!
Check out QMax sheet metal hole punches. More expensive than blade type, but clean cut and last much longer.newsatten wrote: Sun May 25, 25 7:21 pm Need to buy a better quality hole cutter ,
My Chinese crap ones just melted when I tried to cut the drain hole !
Marvellous![]()

Re: Silicone issue
How about a single handle hacksaw blade holder? Something like Screwfix code 188TF, or cheaper 1046X
Not sure if its possible to grind down the blade to a sharp edge so no teeth to damage anything, so it would be like a long stanly blade with a handle... As mygasser said, all depends how compressed ...

Re: American car mechanics
Might need a trailer if brakes faulty, but these guys are at Swindon.
Never used them, so cant recommend, but someone else may have more info. They do servicing and repairs on American Cars, they might have a Faceache page with more info..

Re: Bring a Trailer
Yeah, both stunning cars!! I tend to look at cars from the point of using them regularly and not worrying too much about them and for me, lovely as they are, those top end cars would be a liability and I know I just wouldnt get the fun out of them that I would from a cheaper 'everyday' classic ...
