Damn! Wish I'd seen this thread earlier, I just ordered a bunch of big stuff from them.

Do they contact you before they ship with shipping charges? Surely they can't just charge you without you knowing the cost? Can they? :help:

No mate, they don't ! . I phoned them up one day before they shipped it and they couldn't or wouldn't ! Tell me how much the shipping was. If you've just ordered can't you cancel ? they don't charge your card until they ship it and there was a two week gap between my order being received and being shipped .

I bought a lot of stuff from Jacks. Excellent reliable service and good prices! They will send by post, which has its advantages.
I got my road runner rear bumper from them, they offered door to door or door to airport. Door to airport sounded a bargain, but got ripped off by BAX Global for charges. Should've taken the all-in option door to door. Still only cost around £400 when platers were asking around £500 to rechrome (without repairs). Took a week from order to arrive at Heathrow then a week to get through customs.
