Ha-ha cause I'm not that talented Derek!! :lol: also Auto instruments bench tested and recaliberated all the gauges, rebuilt the odo, polished all the lenses, re-plastic chromed the bezel and supplied a new printed circuit board :lol:

So there you go, you could say it is expensive, and I could have got the shipping cheaper if I had been prepared to wait 8 weeks (I wasnt :roll: )but everybody who has seen the unit in the flesh have loved it, myself included. :D :D

why is it black under the hood? looking very very nice btw!

Thank you Alex :D It's black cause it's going to be a General Lee which had a matt black engine bay. Mine is gloss black, and you should see the gloss, the pic doesnt really do it justice :D The engines been repainted orange so its really going to stand out!!!! :D :D :D

:D Yeah I must admit I'm loving every minute of this resto :D I could never understand why, when reading about a restored car in one of the magazines the article would close by saying that the owner was selling or had sold the car to do something else :? Now I understand, cause JPC have made this such a fantastic experience I wanna do another one when it's finished :D :D Can anyone sponsor me???? :lol:

will DEFINATELY be using them in the future myself - sad to say, but at this point in time, I have had more enjoyment in watching the progress of Phills general, than I have had of the 'progress' of mine.

I have been there a few times with Phill, and even as a guest of a customer you get treated well.

Phills General Lee really is gonna be :) top notch :) when finished.
