They're not as close as they sound though mate... they're South Wales, i'm in North Wales and there's only mountains inbetween- it's genuinely a 4-5 hour trip!

carrier sheeps?

they provide transport for the carrier pigeons over the mountains, but each journey involves 2 sheep

one with short front legs for going up

and one with short back legs for going down

you just need one sheep for any east west travel look for 1 with two autopeadic shoes on the same side

i'll be getting my coat forthwith

You can always tell Kentish Sheeps, they walk backwards and say 'allrightmate'!!!

Do you need a special 360 styley flywheel?
I got one ear, its a pukka Steel one I got from da US.

No S/B bellhousings around now, sold my last one to Jon Conn, wished I'd kept in now DOH!

Well my lovely spacious new garage is now full, shoulda got an A-bod

So- i came up with a neat storage set-up for my seats, carpets, etc

I got the parking brake lever assembly fettled and fitted. You can see the release lever is 'tweaked' to clear the roll cage.
I did a bit of internet research to figure out the cable routing- turns out i have one bit of roll cage outrigger in the way so i'll have to drill through that. Also i'll need to make a new plate to secure the rear cables as the stock one means they'll foul the ginormous tyre. Then i just need the rear cables to complete the job.

Also, i found my Z-bar and crank end spacery thing and bearing. See- i knew i had 'em somewhere!

There's a couple of jobs looming that i'm not too confident about- advice please?

ENGINE MOUNTING:
It's going on a motor plate with no x-member.
HOW do i work out where the engine will sit?

Left - to - right: The diff is offset so i assume the motor goes inline with it?
Levelling: I found a handy guide to this, see below...
Front - to - back: Well, the shifter has to line up with the hole in the floor, any other important factors here?
Up - n - down: Umm... as low as poss without fouling anything? Though again i guess the shifter (and exhausts) will have something to say...

MOTOR PLATE:
No inner wings so this will just bolt to the chassis rails.
I'm thinking a plywood mock-up (or 2 or 3...) then 8-10mm ally plate?
I have a motor plate (pic below) which i may be able to mod, haven't had a proper look yet.
ANY tips and hints (and pics) greatly appreciated

GEARBOX MOUNT:
I have a solid one ready made for an auto which i can mod to fit

PROPSHAFT:
I have a prop which i'll most likely need to alter to length.
I don't know about UJ types?
Do the 4-speed and 727 have the same output shaft?
Where along it's length does the prop loop go?

You should really get a copy has it has all info about making your own props and gearbox mounts, large section on what mopar bit you car cut and weld togther to make it work.All writen for people like us working on the floor in the rain with gradads crap spanner set

If you get stuck let me know and will post you my copy.
