A few more jobs ticked off the list today ;)

Off to the states in about 10 days time, so will collect dry sump- fuel pump drive, plus fuel pump drive cable...

Maybe ready in early/mid May

Note to one self, remember to take detailed photos before stripping a multi stage oil pump down ;)

Finally, pump all now back together & modified to accept fuel pump drive....

Would of been much simpler to order a pump with the drive in the 1st place, oh for hindsight

Progress has been slow in the last few weeks...What with trips to US, family life, & the infamous oil pump bracket saga, finally made some progress...

Oil Pump Brkt #1 went in the bin, Oil pump Brkt # II never made it on the car & finally Oil Pump Brkt #III was a success, so finally can move onto the next jobs.

This has been one of the most tedious & trying jobs on the car that I can remember...

Last pump bracket went in the bin :D

Had to have a rethink, as lack of adjustment was being caused through by being on the same centreline. Also, could not get a belt in the size I needed. So new bracket fabricated with different pivot points. What a a saga ....

All good now, with pump & belt fitted, along with a new tensioner. New oil lines made & plus a couple of fittings to crimp & will be finished Mon/Tues...

I never seem to be able to stop :D

Had a water leak issue at the Dragstalgias... Only on the upper holes near the inlet side.

Although the gasket should of accommodated there was a big miss alignment between the holes in the block to the holes in the head.

So out with the scriber, Drills, Taps & plugs
