My 727 trans rebuild and Erm, skateboard review!
Few people asked me to post on this so here goes
Damaged the sprag on my trans whilst racing (staging actually, I think)
Anton volunteered to rebuild it and so over new year I dragged it out
Labourios job but straightforward. Tried to do it with headers attached only to find that be bellhousing Bol can't be accessed so headers off anyway
Took over a week sifting through quotes on Shiply before I found someone with a 100% feedback who collected it last week and it should be in Sarf Landen anytime soon
Lots of new parts inc
New 5,200 rpm governor
Heavy duty clutches etc
Heavy duty low/reverse Spring
New SFI flexplate
Pics to follow

Some random pics
Always have a skateboard ready to move engines and transmissions
For those who care it's a replica Hot Rocks Bullet Baldy Pipeline from the late 1970s

...I could have rebuilt that for you in no time... The gearbox would not work ever again but you would have loads of 'spare' parts in a bag after I was 'done'.

The workings of a gearbox are like PHD level math to me!!
Glad to see you keeping on at it.

Wow, G&S fibreflex, there's a name from the past....
Good idea, could use my Sims Taperkick that I still have, but would probably ruin it! (cos, right, I have LOTS of other uses for it....
