Re: Blue's Barracuda
I was lucky Chris, paid around £130, vintage shifters are fetching $400 and more these days. Always have carpet in my cars Gary, they just look unfinished without it IMO.

Spent a bit more time knocking the damage out of the trunk lid trims, they are as good as I can get them now. Reinstated the Matt silver inlays and the black pinstripes. I'm pretty happy with how it looks now.

Vinyl pinstriping tape Ali. I was going to paint it but it’s very difficult to mask for the thin inner line so this seemed a better option.

Re: Blue's Barracuda
Looks really good Blue, will you be bringing it to the Nats?
Re: Blue's Barracuda
yes I tried painting it too but very difficult and needs a steady hand, but still bad, so no paint on mine.Blue wrote: Wed Jun 06, 18 7:30 am Vinyl pinstriping tape Ali. I was going to paint it but it’s very difficult to mask for the thin inner line so this seemed a better option.
I will have to try this tape, thanks Blue

Re: Blue's Barracuda
I have loads of tape left over, we could do yours at the Nats if you want?

sounds good to me, only need it for the front, thanks BlueBlue wrote: Thu Jun 07, 18 7:39 am I have loads of tape left over, we could do yours at the Nats if you want?

what width tape is it 3mm or 6mm?
Re: Blue's Barracuda
Prop shortened, perches welded on and braced, brake lines roughed out, I'll tweak 'em for a better fit on the car. Axle case to paint and then it can all go in. Engine has some leaks and odd oil pressure issues so I'll start tearing that down Tomorrow, lets just hope that doesn't turn into a can of worms
