There will always be the argument about whether car owners should pay the full entrance fee when bringing a car to the show, but there are ways of reducing the price you pay for entry.
Stu and I bought ‘Double Membership’ a few years ago, which means if we go twice a year, we just about break even, Any more visits and we’re quids in. I'll most likely go 4 times this year.
Trouble is, as with single entry tickets, membership has been going up too in recent years. When we started it in 2023, double membership (2 named adults) was £88 for the year. This year and last, it is up to £104 (or £109 if we were joining this year).
Single adult advanced tickets are now £25.70, so our membership still just about covers the cost of 2 events each.

But there is an alternative…
At the New Years Day event, we were talking to the owner of a 1934 Austin Taxi… as you do… and he said he recently swapped his Brooklands Museum membership for membership at the London Bus Museum – which is on the same site, if you weren’t aware. Their equivalent membership to what we have with Brooklands is £68. And you get unlimited free access to all Brooklands events; basically the same as what you get with Brooklands membership. You do the math…

I haven’t swapped ours yet – it’s due to renew at the end of Feb. Must admit I do feel a bit bad about cancelling as they do rely on membership…but they are taking the p*ss with their price increases
Just thought I'd share in case anyone else wanted to save a few ££
