Why paint them if you are going to use exhaust wrap?
The exhaust wrap will rot the headers out from the inside-out within a few thousand miles no matter what paint you put on them.

Well, I don't have a recommendation for paint, but it seems the key to longevity is preparation (as always huh!). I've heard people praise and cuss the same product (VHT hi temp comes to mind!), the difference usally being that the ones that lasted well has the headers sandblasted first.
Also, on the topic of header wrap, despite the benefits I've heard it can trap moisture and promote quicker rusting.
That's what 2c gets you!

I always have headers aluminium sprayed, ( I get the whole system done when I make one) it stays looking good for years, you should be able to find a firm locally that can do it, costs around ?60-?80 the pair. the finish is a slightly rough silvery white. It will also not come off if or should I say when, you scrape the headers when installing them, paint would just come off in that situation. I've never found the high temp paints to last very long,I gave up with those years ago. I don't like header wrap either, it has a nasty habit of holding in condensation causing the headers to rust away prematurely. You can see the aluminium coating on the system in the photo, the headers on this car are nickel plated, which is expensive and not as rust resistant.

Good point, I second Blues suggestion - that's what I'll be using on my exhaust (my headers are already coated). I've seen that on several of Blues systems and it looks great, is affordable, and lasts well!
Out of interest, in the US you can get this DIY Ceramic coating. http://www.caswellplating.com/powder/ceramics.html Dunno if it's available here, but you can see the importance of preparation by reading the instructions. If you prepared to this level even with a traditional hi-temp paint, I reckon it would last OK.
But when you look at the time involved, the ali spray still seems a no-brainer to me
